Whispering
Winds Cottage is a year
round cottage on Lake Nokomis which was rebuilt in 2006. The
cottage consists of a great room with a kitchen, dining area,
and living room. There is one bathroom and three bedrooms which
sleep 6-10 people comfortably. Amenities include a large deck,
firepit, gas grill, and a window air conditioner. Firewood is
provided. All cooking and dining utensils are also provided.
The deck has lounge furniture as well as a picnic table.
The cottage is non smoking and we do not allow pets. There is
also access to a shared dock (one boat). The cottage has 300'
of shared water frontage. The beach is sandy and good for swimming.
The Bearskin Trail is located across the street and provides
a nice walking/biking path to the Windmill Ice Cream shop or
Schaefer's Wharf. This trail doubles as a snowmobile trail during
the winter months. There is a gas station / convenience store
located 1⁄4 mile south of the cottage. |
